Social Awareness Campaigns
Hope Foundation and Research Centre has been established to be proactive in supporting eminent social causes. The idea is to identify issues that matter most to the local community and the nation at large and work towards developing programs that address these issues. Hope Foundation focuses on bringing about a change in the lives of those who have been less fortunate by providing them will knowledge, skills and nurturing them with social responsibilities to help in nation-building.
The range of activities under its scope primarily includes educational and research programs but the Trust / Society extends its support to meaningful causes too thereby adding value to the community.

Road Safety Week
Hope Foundation’s FAMT hosted a 29th Road Safety Week Inaugural Ceremony on March 23rd April 2018; in collaboration with RTO Office, Finolex Industries Ltd, District Police Department, Collector Office, MSRTC and FAMT Ratnagiri. The program aimed at creating awareness about road safety and avoiding accidents on the road.

Science Project Exhibition at Zilla Parishad Primary School
Hope Foundation’s FAMT Student Chapter conducted K-12 STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) through Drawing Competitions for the students of 1st to 5th standards and Science based Project Exhibition for the students of 6th to 7th standard at different schools.

As a host and practice of every year supporting a noble cause during Festival of Lights, Hope Foundation organized an Exhibition cum Sale of Diwali Items by NGO’s Maher Ashram, IDEA & Anjuman-I-Islam to help and support underprivileged Children, Widows and Old Aged Parents.

Importance of World Water Day
Water is one of the most important substances on earth. All plants and animals must have water to survive. If there was no water there would be no life on earth. Apart from drinking it to survive, people have many other uses for water. By considering the importance of water in our life, Hope Foundation’s FAMT organized a seminar on 22nd March 25, 2016.

Awareness Program on Electrical Safety
Hope Foundation’s FAMT celebrated Electrical safety week by delivering lectures in nearby schools. It received huge response from all the schools. Lectures were arranged in three schools wherein 120 students and faculty members attended the program in Navnirman College, 150 in Jaguste High school and 90 in Khedshi High school on 13th and 15th January, 2016.

Cancer Awareness Campaign
Hope Foundation’s I²IT conducted Cancer Awareness with event “Cancer Awareness Campaign 2015” by YouWeCan in association with Zuvius Life sciences. The boards flooded showing off the creativity of I²Tians, giving the judges a tough time selecting the best ones. An interactive session with Dr. Chetan Deshmukh proved to be an informative one. The short film “Iftequar” based on Cancer Awareness grabbed the audience till the end.

World’s AIDS Day
Hope Foundation’s I²IT started “Awareness Month for AIDS and CANCER”, on the occasion of World Aids Day” by hosting “Sparsh Balgram‟ (an organization for the AIDS affected children) on 1st December 2015. I²IT team met amazing and awesome kids, and spent the day with them. Team played, danced, laughed, sang and had a lot of fun together, each student was given a kit including some basic student materials and a monetary contribution was made to the organization. I²IT team devoted the day spreading awareness about AIDS and loving a bunch of wonderful friends.

International White Cane Day
Hope Foundation’s I²IT celebrated International White Cane Day‟ in order to create awareness about the problems and potential of visually challenged. It also conducted a fund raiser on 30th October 2015 which proceeds to go to Indian Association for the Blind – IAB, Madurai, for the education and rehabilitation of visually challenged people.

Vigilance Awareness Week
As part of the Vigilance Awareness Week initiated by the Central Vigilance Commission of India, Hope Foundation’s I²IT hosted a Panel Discussion comprising of students. The theme of the event was Preventative Vigilance as a tool for Good Governance.
