Unity in Diversity

“Unity in Diversity” is an expression of harmony and unity between dissimilar individuals or groups. It focuses on the existence of unity even after lots of differences of cultural, social, physical, linguistic, religious, political, ideological, psychological, etc. Unity in diversity boosts morale of people at workplace, organization, and community. It helps in enhancing a feeling of pride and mutual loyalty shared by the members of a group, relationships, teamwork among people thus improve performance, quality of work, productivity and lifestyle.

150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

A talk by Dr. R. H. Kamble- Head, Department of History, Gogate-Jogalekar College, Ratnagiri was organized on ‘Life and works of Mahatma Gandhi’ to celebrate 150th birth anniversary of Gandhiji at FAMT. It was arranged on 1st October 2018, at the Seminar Hall of FAMT by Cultural Committee.

Ek Rakhi Sainikasathi

Hope Foundation’s FAMT celebrated this Raksha Bandhan with Ek Rakhi Sainikasathi on 25th August, 2018. It received a huge response from the students of FAMT as well as the students from other institutes. Around 33 students wrote letters along with rakhi’s for the soldiers.

Maharashtra Day

Hope Foundation’s FAMT celebrated Maharashtra Day on May 1, 2018. Maharashtra Day, commonly known as Maharashtra Diwas is a state holiday, commemorating the formation of the state of Maharashtra from the division of the Bombay State on 1 May 1960.  Dr Kaushal Prasad, Principal, hoisted the national flag and addressed the gathering of students & faculty on the occasion.  Mr Shridhar Patankar of T.E Mechanical presented patriotic song.

International Yoga Day

Hope Foundation’s I²IT and FAMT celebrated International Yoga Day on June 21, 2017 their respective campuses. As a part of celebration, an informative lecture by Mr. Rajesh Ayare and Yoga Workshop was organized from June 19 to June 24 for faculty and staff. Mr. Rajesh Ayare, Prof. G.S. Kulkarni and Smt. Shruti Limaye worked as Yoga Instructors at FAMT for this workshop.

Inter-collegiate Cross Country Race

Mumbai University’s Inter-Collegiate Cross Country Race was organized by Finolex Academy of Management and Technology on 29th Aug 2016. Total 692 participants with 76 teams, participated in this race.  It was arranged as a part of celebration of National Sports Day which is celebrated all over India on the occasion of birthday of the great hockey player Major Dhyanchand.

Hope Foundation’ s FAMT celebrated Sadbhavana Diwas on 20th August 2015. The Birth Anniversary of late Prime Minister of India, Shri. Rajiv Gandhi is observed as ‘Sadbhavana Diwas’ on 20th August nationwide every year. This theme of ‘Sadbhavana Diwas’ is to promote National Integration and communal harmony among the people of all religions, and languages.

It is not about exercise but to discover the sense of oneness within you, the world and the nature. By changing our lifestyle and creating consciousness, it can help us deal with climate change.
