COVID RELIEF

The Covid – 19 pandemic has completely changed our lives. These are truly unprecedented times that have affected the country’s healthcare systems, leaving millions at the risk of exposure and adding livelihood challenges for many, including the migrant workers. At Hope Foundation, it is always essential for us to do our part of social service to the deserving communities. We are committed to working together, engaging with social groups, and are a valued contributor to society, at all times.

Along with keeping our Faculty, Staff, and Students safe by adopting the work-from-home facility to the extent possible, we are also working to safeguard access to critical services during this period of crisis. We are especially mindful of those experiencing hardships during this time and are responding to the best of our capabilities where we can to the evolving needs of society.

We are also proud that so many Faculty and Staff of Hope Foundation and its educational and research divisions at Ratnagiri and Pune have contributed and continue to contribute to the community in whatever way they are able to either directly or through donations including voluntarily donating a part of their salary towards the Covid – 19 relief initiatives of Hope Foundation.

Also, service and support are being extended by them in distributing food packets to the frontline workers, donating essential items, assisting in medicines and oxygen supplies, groceries, conducting online counseling and awareness sessions, etc.

Hope Foundation is committed and will continue to guide its available resources towards the Covid- 19 relief efforts to support the people in need and help reduce the impact on the daily life of economically marginalized and vulnerable people in the community.

In this period of distress, a summary of the relief activities undertaken by Hope Foundation and its institutions in Ratnagiri and Pune are outlined below:

This apart, the Board of Trustees of the Hope Foundation in their personal capacities are also undertaking many such relief activities by supplying food  packets to the needy, face masks, sanitizers, medicines etc. to various social organizations, NGOs and migrant workers during these trying times. Hope Foundation is also providing insurance cover, medical, financial and other administrative support to its Faculty and Staff at Ratnagiri and Pune including reimbursing them for the cost of their vaccination doses.

We are also thankful to all those who have cooperated with us in these relief activities. We do hope that the vaccination process will be undertaken on a larger scale by the Central / State Governments soon to check this menace and all of us would get back to normalcy at the earliest.

Stay Safe!
